Chuck Mercier, vice-president of Pardon Services Canada, appeared on the Ian Jessop show on behalf of the Lift the Burden campaign. Mercier talked about how pardons are an important part of the rehabilitation process for the thousands of Canadians who have criminal records. He also talked about how the Lift the Burden campaign is advocating for a free and accessible process that would help citizens get back on track and live law-abiding lives.
